Blue Lobster Multimedia Productions,
a division of Lansing based F. D. Hayes Electric Company,
has produced an award winning multimedia presentation.
The business card sized CD-ROM presentation was created
for Leviton Manufacturing of Little Neck, New York.
Leviton Manufacturing received the 'Best of the Best'
Award in the category of Electronic Media for Wiring
Devices at the AdVenture 2000 Conference, a yearly
conference co-sponsored by the National Association
of Electrical Distributors and TED Magazine. The award
recognizes a manufacturer’s excellence in delivering
superior marketing and sales support materials in
an electronic format. It was presented to Leviton
for its innovative "Wetguard® i-Bulletin"
- a product information encyclopedia on a CD-ROM the
size of a business card.
The i-Bulletin, created by Blue Lobster
Multimedia Productions, provides product testing information
on Leviton’s Wetguard® line. Some of the
main features are a three-dimensional product "cut-away"
with pop-up feature/benefit information, a technical
section, NEMA cross-reference charts, a competitive
comparison, and a hot link to the Leviton web site.
